Lil Wayne – Tha Carter III

Lil Wayne – Tha Carter III

Being down in Buenos Aires I kind of missed this one.

Lil Wayne’s latest album, “Tha Carter III” (Cash Money), sold a million copies in its first week — the first release to cross the seven-figure threshold since 50 Cent’s “The Massacre”.

This most likely will save the slumping record industry.

Guess all those mix-tapes paid off for the kid from New Orleans that created the phrases “bling bling” and “drop it like it’s hot”

I respect his hustle, but this greatest rapper alive talk boggles me, plus, there were no J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League tracks, which was disappointing. Quiet as kept though, flow wise nobody is seeing AZ or G Rap.

    Mr. Crown,

Agreed. AZ or G Rap can run lyrical circles around Lil Wayne.

Real Bad Boys move in silence.

He is definitely NOT the best rapper alive. I agree he is pretty funny though. Wasn’t he the one that accidentally shot himself? That would really suck..

I do love his music though!
