Undefeated Zippo Lighters

A while back we talked about Undefeated Gucci Loafers. Today we are going to talk about what any G worth his salt has: Undefeated Zippo Lighters.

It is no secret that I am a big fan of Zippo lighters.

Why?

Great question.

Well, first off they are American Made since 1932. And even though the government and the TSA have tried to destroy a great American company, the company still stands. (Make sure you check out Travel: Zippo Lighter Travel OtterBox Waterproof Case ).

Secondly, they are guaranteed for life.

Thirdly, they make you look even more smooth when you smoke.

And Fourthly, they make that distinct “ping” noise when you open and shut them which is known to put girls under the ether.

Anyways, recently I purchased two new Zippos:

And this one because it is kind of obnoxious:

Pretty smooth.

With the Gold Floral Flush Zippo Lighter, I went 2-0 with 2 KO’s in Montreal, and 1-0 with 1 KO in NYC.

So all in all, the lighter is 3-0 with 3 KO’s.

Keep in mind, I have swooped girls on other nights with this lighter, but these are “fresh swoops”. I am not trying to “pad the record”, so to speak.

With the Zippo Dancer Pocket Lighter, I went 1-0 in NYC, and 1-0 in Los Angeles.

So the Exotic Dancer Zippo’s record stands at a respectable 2-0, with 2 KO’s.

Pretty remarkable actually.

Interestingly enough, I haven’t even used the Exotic Dancer lighter in a Gentleman’s Club. Yet.

But I am pretty sure it will work well.

Hell, if I had known how good these Zippo’s were going to work, I would have paid double.

Actually, make that triple.

But no need to bite my steez, there are plenty of dope Zippo’s out there to match your Game.

American Girls: Ugg Boots VS High Heels

American Girls: Ugg Boots VS High Heels

So I was chilling, Custom Suited Down recently in a certain up-market part of Southern California that I spend a lot of time in when I am back on the Nacirema turf.

I was with one of my droogs from way back when we were flipping Beans, talking biz and trading war stories at a pretty dope lunch spot that is pretty hipstered out (but keep in mind this is Southern California so it is kind of pseudo-hipster).

The owner, some top-flight glam hipster cat who everyone thinks is so cool (and unbelievably girls like the guy, or maybe not so “unbelievably” in this day and age) came over to greet us.

He is a fan.

My friend and I are trying to talk dollars and sense and I got skippy in a fedora yapping in my ear asking me where I have been this year and on and on.

When I finally brushed him off so he could go make yogurt double lattes with extra whipped cream, or whatever the hell hipsters drink, my friend, who is a certified International Playboy just like me said, “Typical stay at home American. Minimal passports stamps, that guy. Probably does the Maui-Las Vegas-Cabo triangle and thinks he is making moves…”

I said, “Yeah, just like those cats that move some ounces and think they are causing a crimewave…” before I noticed something that was making me edgy for the last 10 minutes…

Every goddamn girl sitting outside of this “trendy, up-market, hipster joint” are wearing Ugg Boots.

I almost flipped my lid. (I think it is because I have been sparring again. F*ck Halloween. I have been turning into a Monster. I had to spark up a cigarette to calm down.)

This Ugg Boot stuff really has to stop.

Look. I have heard the excuses from Americant girls.

“High-Heels just aren’t comfortable during the day…”

Bullsh*t.

In Riga, Latvia, girls wear high heels on cobblestones. In wintertime.

And I have heard girls say:

“I just can’t move around in high heels…”

Bullsh*t again.

I know an Exotic Dancer that can do this Bruce Lee Move on the stage in High Heels:

So let’s put this to rest once and for all.

Let’s do a comparison.

Which is better?

Ugg Boots?

Or High Heels?

Any questions?

Christian Audigier The Nightclub – CLOSED

Christian Audigier The Nightclub – CLOSED

I can’t believe I hadn’t heard about this before one of my droogs just sent this to me:

Christian Audigier The Nightclub has closed.

(I guess it happened back when I was slugging it out on the cobbles of Riga, Latvia with big bald headed hoods in leather jackets, and swooping fly girls.)

Anyone who has been following The G Manifesto knows I have been waging a one man War against glittery shirts and rhinestones for a few years (like I waged a one man war against the multi-colore striped Mortgage Broker button down shirt before it).

I guess it is another victory, you can’t get with me, so pick a B.C. date, because your history.

The Age of Elegance is coming. (Or returning, depending on how you are looking at it).

That is, it’s coming if we want to get out of this mess we are in.

In other news, Simon Black has a great article about exactly what I was talking about at lunch today with a friend over some imported jamon iberico and a glass of red with a couple of smokes thrown in for good measure.

One thing is for sure: It is going to be a long, hot summer.

Some gems:

Now, clearly there are a lot of disgruntled Americans. There’s a lot of anger… even class tensions. The OWS movement is emblematic of this sentiment for sure, but in terms of taking action, most people still believe in the political process.

All of their angst and negativity will be taken out in the voting booth. Until then, it’s the calm before the storm. But the unfortunate reality is that no matter which way the 2012 election turns out, chaos will ensue.

If President Obama wins a second term, many conservative Americans will have reached their breaking points. If a republican candidate should win, a huge portion of Americans will feel they have lost their champion.

No matter what, though, people will quickly realize that absolutely nothing has changed. They’ll recognize that the insolvency of the United States government is a simple arithmetic problem; that social security is bankrupt; that the Treasury Department is a giant Ponzi scheme; and that there is. no. recovery.

For now, Americans are still investing in the political process. Come next year, though, all the hope that’s building up will turn quickly into disappointment… and then anger. Then they’ll take that anger to the streets.

This is what happens when governments go bust. It’s happened numerous times throughout history, and it’s playing out right now from Greece to Argentina.

Social unrest becomes commonplace. Governments engage in financial repression, giving rise to asset seizures, inflation, and capital controls. Militarized police states categorize ordinary citizens into combatants and non-combatants. Collateral damage becomes an acceptable risk. Society turns on itself, and crime rates soar.

Watching the farce of America’s political theater play out, it’s clear that this ticking time bomb will go off after Election Day 2012. As polarized as voters are, and as dismal the federal balance sheet is, there’s little chance of society keeping it together afterwards.

What’s happening right now is merely an overture… and you can mark a date on your calendar for when the real fun begins.

American Competition Abroad

» 06 August 2011 » In Dope, People, Style, Travel » 6 Comments

American Competition Abroad

One of the thing that constantly amazes me when I travel the world and swoop fly girls is how little competition comes from my fellow Americans.

The American competition is just paper thin.

You are way more likely to run into chubby Americans with beards, t-shirts and sandals than you are to run into American International Playboys with Custom Suits, Gucci Loafers, thick Bankrolls and Zippo Lighters.

It is pretty embarassing how shook Americans are abroad. And don’t get me started on American Beach Style on the Topless Beaches. (That being said, the Euro guy style is really bad too).

I am mildly surprised that more people out their aren’t embracing The International Playboy Lifestyle.

The US government really should start paying International Playboys for all the good PR work we do for our country.

Custom Suits and Dope Shoes: Save Money by Spending Money

» 08 June 2011 » In diamonds, Guide, Luxury, money, Style » 10 Comments

Custom Suits and Dope Shoes: Save Money by Spending Money

When I posted this, Undefeated Gucci Loafers, a lot of people asked me, “But what if I don’t have the money for Gucci Loafers and Custom Suits?”

Here is the thing most people don’t realize: Custom Suits and Dope Shoes actually save you money.

Let me break it down:

You throw down 5 G’s for a Custom Suit.

If you take care of it, you can have it for minimum 10 years (if not a lifetime and hand it down to your little baby G’s if you go that route).

$5,000 / 10 = $500 per year.

Pretty damn cheap.

Now ask yourself, what would you rather have, a Custom Suit, or some crappy off-the rack job by Hugo Boss for $500 where the buttons will pop off after a heavy night?

Same thing with Gucci Loafers, let’s break it down:

Gucci Loafers will easily last you 5 years, if you take care of them and hit up your shoe cobbler on a regular basis.

$500 / 5 – $100 per year.

Now ask yourself, what would you rather have, a dope pair of Gucci Loafers or some weesh Kenneth Cole’s that will fall apart in 6 months?

Side note: It’s a little harder to pencil out handmade shoes, but they are worth every penny.

And here is the kicker.

With all the money printing that Bernake is doing, investing in Custom Suits and Dope Shoes is investing in real assets. So you are actually hedging against inflation.

Trust me, when the apocalypse comes, you are going to want to have some silver, some gold, some emeralds, some diamonds and shooting it out with an AR-15 and taking Thorozine while Custom Suited Down.

For Style Points, of course.

International Playboy of The Apocalypse.
