Finally a G (International Playboy) in a Modern Movie

One of the things that hurts the modern International Playboy is that International Playboys are not represented in Modern day cinema. Men in movies today are always weesh (no wonder I don’t hardly ever sit through modern day movie garbage).

This hurts us, since we don’t have “The Hollywood Effect” in our favor, that is, girls today have no frame of reference for us modern day International Playboys.

Well, here is a movie with a G:

The movie is called The Buisness, it it is well worth buying.

The part played by Charlie was so realistically done, that I had to do some research on the cat, because no actor ponce could play an International Playboy so convincingly.

Turns, out, the actor, Tamer Hassan, was a boxer, owns a boxing gym (or did) and owned nightclubs before he was acting.

He is from a rough hood in South London also.

I guess he also rocks Custom Suits constantly.

I knew it, the guy has a background similar to my own; no wonder he could play the role of being an International Playboy. Because he was one in real life.

It is also interesting to note, that the cat looks kind of like me. Or at least what I will probably look like in 10-15 years.

Once again, the world makes sense.

Dope Movies: Inside Job and Brotherhood

After some heavy globetrotting, I have been down-timing it a little and watched a couple of movies.

Inside Job

I have read tons about our latest financial crisis, but it was nice to see some of the culprits on the small screen.

The only thing I can think about these bankers is: what a bunch of weasels.

And, how did they ever survive grade school?

If they went to mine, they would have gotten strung up on the jungle gym.

And not to get all “conspiracy theory” on here or anything, but I have written before that I though Eliot Spitzer got railroaded. The movie briefly alludes to this.

Brotherhood

This is a pretty good low-pro flick. I am not even sure why I watched it.

However, it does a real good job of covering the typical “crazy night” that sprials out of control that could change our lives forever.

We have all been there, but it is rarely covered in movies. Not your typical “college” flick.

YouTube has launched a fresh Movies category on its website, gathering about 400 full-length films for your on-demand viewing pleasure, all free of charge.

The renewed section, which is actually more like the next step in previously announcedprojects, comes courtesy of deals the Google company struck with U.S. studios like Lionsgate, MGM and Sony Pictures and UK service Blinkbox.

This is pretty smooth since I just Entered The Dragon myself, I think I will spend the rest of the afternoon drinking a few glasses of Vino Tinto and watching Bruce Lee’s The Big Boss (Fists Of Fury) before catching some late races at The Del Mar Racetrack:

If you are anything like me, you have a tough time watching crap American movies. I can’t even remember the last one I sat down and watched.

Recently, I saw Johnny Mad Dog. Its pretty dope and it’s filmed in that manner that makes it look like a documentary although it isn’t. Without ruining it, it is about Child Soldiers in Liberia. These kids are heavy and make the droogs in A Clockwork Orange look like a bunch of accountants on a work retreat.

Johnny Mad Dog is the leader of a crew that terrorizes, plunders and pillages towns all the while doing drugs, drinking booze and dressing in crazy gear (which I am guessing is the height of fashion for the Child Soldier set).

Peep it. It is the best movie I have seen all year.

Johnny Mad Dog Trailer

Tucker Max: I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell Trailer

Tucker Max, who wrote a New York Times Best Seller is coming out with a movie.

Now, Tucker Max is not exactly my strain of Chronic, but to each his own.

I do have a lot of respect for the cat, he is a good writer, has the juice to make his own movie, and generally (from what I know, which is not a ton) plays by his own rules.

I also give him props for breaking down some of the barriers for male writers, and male subject matter in general.

He is often accused of being a liar, a misogynist, sexist, homophobic, racist, and an asshole (the last one by his own account).

Personally, I don’t think the guy is a liar. His stories are completely believable, and in fact, maybe a little tame. People relate to his stories, (and why so many people buy his books) because they know someone like him, or knew someone like him.

I remember “him” from my college days: he was the dorky “regular guy” playing intramural flag football on campus when I was going down to my beach crib to pitch drugs and swoop girls. Or going down South to hidden beaches and uncrowded points.

There are some people that don’t believe what I write in The G Manifesto either. In my experience, these are people with extremely boring lives.

As Bruce Lee said:

Sure he a misogynist, but I have been accused of the same thing. There is nothing I have read of his that would lead me to believe he is a homophobic or a racist in any way.

Looks pretty damn unfunny. Every joke in the trailer was an air ball.

And pretty boring.

A night at the Gentleman’s Club? Come on.

But, keep in mind, I am the type of G that goes to Gentleman’s Club’s three nights a week.

And who are these nonces doing the acting?

Can’t blame Tucker for the actors though. “Young Hollywood” is pretty much the biggest a bunch of nonces out there.

Either way, I truly hope his movie does well.

And my guess is, it will.

Crap movies do well these days.
